Bridgeport launches anti-litter campaign

Mayor Joe Ganim’s administration has launched “Park City Pickin’ It Up.”
The initiative includes a task force of city employees focused on anti-litter efforts; plans to create a curriculum in schools to make children more concerned about litter; and efforts to better engage neighborhood leaders to identify areas for clean up and to gather the necessary volunteers.
